Martinsville Race Day
Tyler Tomassi finished 28th in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Black's Tire 200 presented by Down East Heating & Air Conditioning at Martinsville Speedway on Friday, October 30, 2026. He drove the No. 69 RAM for MBM Motorsports, also known as Garage 66 / Motorsports Business Management, and completed 196 of the scheduled 200 laps.
The Martinsville race marked the first start for MBM Motorsports’ black No. 69 RAM entry. The truck carried support from Tomassi Law LLC, TF56 Designs and MAD RBT Energy.
The race brought a demanding set of challenges across practice and competition. Tomassi and the team addressed an early brake-line problem, then worked through radio communication and truck issues during the event. He kept the No. 69 clear of the multi-truck incidents and brought it to the finish, classified as running.

Early Adjustments
Practice ended prematurely when the No. 69 suffered a severed brake line. The issue cut the session short and put the team’s focus on addressing the truck before the race.
The brake-line problem was the first major adjustment of the Martinsville weekend for Tomassi’s new MBM Motorsports entry. With the black No. 69 RAM making its first race appearance, the team worked to prepare the truck for the scheduled 200-lap event.
During the race, radio communication failed for most of the first two stages. Tomassi was essentially without in-cab communication while the event continued around him. That left him to manage the race without the usual radio connection to the team for much of the opening portion.
An extended pit stop followed as the team worked on communication and truck issues. A second stop came immediately afterward to continue that work. The time spent on pit road put the No. 69 four laps down, changing the focus to completing the race and keeping the truck in contention to reach the finish.

Holding Position Through Traffic
Martinsville’s compact layout kept the No. 69 in close traffic as the race progressed. With radio communication unavailable for most of the first two stages, Tomassi had to navigate the on-track conditions while managing the truck without normal communication from the team.
The extended pit stop and second stop created a significant deficit, leaving the No. 69 four laps down. Tomassi continued to run the truck and worked through the remaining race distance after the early problems affected the team’s track position.
Multi-truck incidents added another challenge during the event. Tomassi kept the No. 69 out of those incidents and continued through the race without being involved. Maintaining the truck’s condition and staying on track allowed him to keep working toward the finish despite the time lost addressing the communication and truck issues.

The No. 69 holds its ground in the field under the Martinsville night lights.
The Martinsville run combined a shortened practice session, an extended period without reliable in-cab communication and two stops to address issues. Tomassi and the MBM Motorsports team continued to work through each challenge, keeping the black No. 69 RAM running on the track.
Completing the Distance
Tomassi completed 196 of the 200 laps at Martinsville Speedway and was classified as running in 28th place. The result reflected a race in which the team had to respond to mechanical and communication issues while keeping the No. 69 on track.
The finish completed the first race for MBM Motorsports’ black No. 69 RAM entry. Tomassi brought the truck to the checkered flag after the brake-line issue in practice, the radio failure during most of the first two stages and the pit stops to work on communication and truck issues.
Support from Tomassi Law LLC, TF56 Designs and MAD RBT Energy was carried on the No. 69 throughout the event. The Martinsville race added another NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series start for Tomassi and a completed race distance for the team’s new entry.

Tyler Tomassi continues through the Martinsville race in the No. 69.
